Exemption from registration fee and financial support for stays in Florianópolis are two types of benefits that may be requested by participants in the 13th Women’s Worlds Congress and 11th Doing Gender Seminar. The registration deadline for assistance requests is 28/02/2017.

According to the event’s general coordination, the following are eligible to apply for assistance: author(s) who have had papers approved for oral communication in the Thematic Symposia, Debate Forum presentation, Poster presentation, and Mini-course or Workshop instructors.

In the collective construction of the congress by the social movements and academia, besides the Thematic Symposia and Mini-courses, geared towards the discussion of academic research, this year’s edition will include Debate Forums that will provide a collaborative space for the strengthening of the fight for women’s rights.

This is the first time that the Women’s Worlds congress will be held in South America. The event will take place between the 30th of July and the 4th of August 2017, in the Federal University of Santa Catarina (UFSC), in Florianópolis (Brazil), in tandem with the 11th Doing Gender seminar (Fazendo Gênero 11).
